Rottingdean Scarecrow Competition

All households and businesses are invited to make and place a scarecrow in their front porch, garden or window for an informal competition which will be judged during the weekend of 1st & 2nd August. Certificates will be awarded. We hope that scarecrows will be left in position throughout August so that residents can walk around and see them.

To enter all you have to do is text or email me with your address before 1st July so that we can list scarecrow locations in the August / September issue of RVN. My contact details are: 07834 588097, [email protected] Then get busy creating, ready for August.

We run 12 services a week, covering all areas of the city, and for many of our passengers this is the only time they leave the house.  k

Although originally designed for our regulars who can no longer get to the shops, this service is for anyone in the city who needs food and basic supplies.
